This customized project centers on a bezel set with 36 pink baguette sapphires, chosen to intensify the color of the original pink mother of pearl dial and give it a more precious character. Their brilliance echoes the natural reflections of the original pink mother of pearl dial, creating a cohesive interplay of color and light.
The Owner’s Vision
The owner wanted to enhance the pink tones already present in the original dial and give the watch a more precious presence. After exploring several directions, we selected pink baguette sapphires to frame the dial and amplify its natural reflections without altering its original character.
Pink Sapphire Setting
A new bezel was machined specifically for this project to receive 36 pink baguette sapphires totaling 5.94 carats. The project brought together a gemologist, precision machinist, jeweler, gem setter, and watchmaker, from stone selection and component machining to setting and final assembly in our Swiss workshops.
